If you’re looking for a place to hang out, full of cliques, full of non welcoming people, this place is for you.
The owner is a complete jerk. He will try to make you feel welcome; and will pretend that you’re important, then will completely ignore you after he gives you his rehearsed narrative of why his bar is the best.
Meanwhile, he emotionally harasses his employees and degrades women.
If you aren’t included in the “in crowd” you and your opinion don’t matter, and he doesn’t care in the slightest.
Kava USED to be a great place; when it opened. Now it’s nothing more than a popularity contest, and those who don’t fit in, don’t belong.
Do yourself a favor and check out the other Kava bar a few miles away.
