This is not scraped wellness copy. It comes from more than 20 years of drinking kava daily, spending time with the people who drink it, and visiting more than 500 kava bars across the country. The directory supplies the data. Lived experience supplies the judgment, language, and bullshit detector.

Walk into a good kava bar and the first thing that hits you isn't volume. It's the absence of it. Soft light. Furniture that doesn't care how long you stay. And this thick, root-heavy smell rising like the Pacific decided to exhale in the middle of an American city.

For centuries, people in Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, and across the South Pacific have gathered around kava. Now the same root is quietly colonizing the United States in the form of kava bars: rooms that somehow refuse to be coffee shops, alcohol bars, or wellness centers.
